Bra Strap and people

"Hey your strap is visible" if you are a creature who wears a piece of fabric to support your breast then you must have heard this exaggerating exclamatory sentence split out by people. Even your best friend might be the one or some random aunty or just a person who is not important in your life.I tried to find the reason for this visibility hype.

At first I thought it may be sexual but when I read its definition, which says a bra is a piece of clothing that women wear under their other clothes. I understood nothing as to me it looks the same as "Rupa baniyan" or any other baniyan.Perhaps I am an idiot who cannot differentiate between baniyan and a Bra. Often girls are judged as careless when this happens. But if they are wearing it then it is supposed to be visible, what is a big deal? This is quite frequent for those girls who are skinny (this happens a lot) or in my opinion for every girl. If any biped who wears a "Bra" tells me it is less awkward but when another human who wears Baniyan points out , I literally feel like slapping him because this behaviour reflects hypocrisy.

My poor Bra strap, which is often found hiding under my "Kurti", makes people (especially from the opposite gender) feel awkward. Maybe my bra strap is hindering their modesty but I don't understand the correlation. However it is still a modest behaviour to mention it, while making another hetrosexual counterpart awkward. If I am meeting any guy my eyes don't fall on the baniyan and most of the time I don't look there when they are bending their waist.  If my poor undergarment is making you feel atypical then stop looking there.

It is important for us to normalise this stuff as women and girls also deserve decent behaviour instead of sexualising that body parts or their fabrics. If you can't treat us equally, at least us as humans because we are more than your orthodox rumour.

P.S : if I'm wearing an inner over my "Bra" and it is visible still people will point out.

The Indian Paradox : Democracy, Communism and National Identity

On the 10th October 2008, the historic deal was signed between India and the USA. A landmark occasion as India began to be recognised as a nuclear weapon state, a privilege that enabled gain access to critical technologies. The core of agreement focuses on the non proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. The deal opens the door for import of Uranium which further leads to peaceful and civilian use of nuclear energy. The deal also strengthens the future image of India at international level. However, being democratic country with a political instability as a feature of Manmohan Singh's government took a unique turn. Criticism was expressed in parliament but the irony is that the opposition party led by Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji supported the deal but coalition parties threatened the cabinet for withdrawing the support. In my opinion, this is a common situation but the issue that concerns me most is the fact that primary opposition came from communist party also known as "le...

Climate Change: a great crises that we will defeat.

“Climate change is a terrible problem, and it needs to be solved. It deserves to be a huge priority.”-Bill Gates, Founder of Microsoft. Do you experience intense heat more often than your parents and grandparents? It must be a ‘NO’. During those days heat was not severe and if we analyze the scenario 20 years ago, people were able to live without air conditioners. But why are we experiencing this weather pattern? Well, this is persuaded by human activities that cause climate change. As per as United Nations, climate change is regarded as one of the greatest crises in the world. Planet Earth emits certain amount of carbon but its natural mechanism regulates overall temperature. But these things began to take dramatic turn when humans began to hinder over earth mechanism. With the advent of industrial revolution, humans were researching on striving for new technologies that provoked higher economic growth.
